Depositing Funds

Transferring funds to your account is very simple.

All you have to is log in to your account and on the menu bar at the left side, click on “Funds”.

The Funds Management page will appear. Click Deposit and then your preferred money transfer method.

Minimum and Maximum Deposit Amounts

The minimum deposit is £100/€100/$100 for most payment methods and a minimum of £500/€500/$500 on bank transfers.

The maximum deposit is limited by the payment method used. For large sums, a bank transfer is the best option.


Accepted Payment Methods

Currently, here are the payment methods that you can use to deposit money into your Plus500 account:

Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club, Switch, JCB
Electronic Payments: Skrill, PayPal
Wire Transfer

Note that wire transfers are deposited between 1 – 3 business days. All other methods are deposited immediately.

Also note that when using credit cards, additional verification documents are asked, usually a copy of the back and front of your credit card with your name visible. Initial credit card verification takes 5 minutes up to 24 hours. On your next deposits, this step is skipped.

Withdrawing the Funds

On the Fund Management page, click on Withdraw, fill in the details and click “Open a Withdrawal”.

Withdrawing takes up to 3 – 5 business days before it is credited to your bank account.

The minimum withdrawable amount is £50/€50 and depends on the withdrawal method used. For bank transfers and credit cards, the minimum is less than £100/€100/$100.

Fees for withdrawing funds

For withdrawals lower that the minimum allowed, a fee of £10/€10/$10.
For closing the account, there is a fee of £10/€10/$10, unless the withdrawal is to a credit card.

Transaction History

You will be able to see the transaction history on the Funds Management page.

Simply click on the Monetary History tab and a list of transactions that are still in process or are still incomplete can be viewed here.

It has the Transaction column, Cash Flow, Status, Amount, Date.
